They strengthen our competitive skills. And whether it’s chess, poker, or Sudoku, most games have this in common: Everything you need to win is rooted in mathematics. Try a free […]

I've only now come across your video. Very informative. I have a question if this EV can be applied to Craps. In the game of Craps, unlike Roulette, you also a "No decision" on several out comes. For example if the point is #4; you have 3 ways out of 36 to win and 6 ways out of 36 to lose (7-out). So the remaining other 27 combinations are a "No decision", because you didn't win nor did you lose. How would you get the EV in the game of Craps?

however, if you just keep bet the same number when you win, and double the bet when you loose, and then start over when you win, then you will in the end win all time.. i mean. who the fk loose 8 times in row if you bet color :p

The title of the video is "The Mathematics of…" He is teaching a concept in mathematics behind the game and what you are expected to win, or in this case lose, over a large sample of independent trials.  I studied math and this is exactly what you learn in the subject of probability.  You can't argue with this guy, and if so I'd like to see some formal proofs showing that your theories are correct.

What a bunch of nonsense, starting with the wheel…NOT a real American wheel with numbers in the correct order! The correct order is: 0, 28, 9, 26, 30, 11, 7, 20, 32, 17, etc. Forget the "odds" there are ways to overcome the odds on some machines, but it's too complex to go into here.

Obama's energy policy. Grab a huge pile of cash, play it at the Roulette table, and tell the croupier, "put it all on green".
